This page says what we keep, why we keep it, and how to get rid of it. It is short because the list is short. We hold what is needed to run your line and answer your messages, and not much else.
An order record, a contact address to reach you at, the line-up and term you chose, and the messages you have sent us. That is what is needed to set your household up and to recognise you when you write in six months later asking about the television in the spare room.
We do not need to know how many people live in your house, their names, their ages, or what any of them watch. The household planning on this site is a thinking tool for you, not a form to fill in. Nobody is asked to declare their viewing habits in order to buy a line.
Setting up a screen involves details on your side, in an app you control, on hardware you own. We do not install anything on your television, and we do not reach into your home network. Where a set-top box has to be registered to work, that registration exists to make the box function rather than to watch what it does.
Support conversations are kept so that the next person you write to can see what was already tried. That is usually to your benefit; it saves you repeating the history of a problem every time. Those messages are not used for anything else and are not passed around.
Write in and ask. We will tell you what is held and remove what is not needed to keep a live line running. If your term has already finished, there is very little to keep and it can go.
Your viewing is not something we compile or report on, and nothing on this site depends on knowing it. The planning questions here are for you to answer to yourself before ordering.
Ask through the contact page. You will get back a plain answer about what is held, and anything not needed to run a current line can be deleted.
